The production process of the paper straw

2021-09-03

1. Pulping(paper straw)
Process pulping is the first step of paper straw making.
Generally, there are three methods to convert wood into pulp: mechanical pulping, chemical pulping and semi chemical pulping.

2. Modulation(paper straw)

The modulation of process paper is another key point of papermaking. The strength, tone, printability and storage life of paper are directly related to it.

3. Copying(paper straw)
The main work of the process paper straw making department is to evenly interweave and dehydrate the thin paper materials, and then dry, calender, roll paper, cut, sort and pack them. Therefore, the common processes are as follows:

a. Screening of paper material:

the prepared paper material is diluted to a lower concentration, and the impurities and undivided fiber bundles are screened again through the screening equipment, so as to maintain the quality and protect the equipment.

b. The net part enables the paper material to flow out of the head box and be evenly distributed and interwoven on the circulating copper wire net or plastic net.
c. The press department will lead the wet paper removed from the mesh surface to two rollers with wool cloth, and further dehydrate the wet paper by the squeezing of the rollers and the water absorption of the wool cloth, so as to make the paper closer, so as to improve the paper surface and increase the strength.
d. The moisture content of the pressed wet paper in the drying cylinder is still as high as 52-70%. At this time, the mechanical force can no longer be used to press and remove the moisture. Therefore, the wet paper is allowed to pass through many cylinder surfaces with hot steam to dry the paper.
e. The paper web is rolled into a paper roll by the paper winding machine
f. Cutting, sorting and packaging:

take several rolls of paper that have been rolled into a barrel in front, cut them into sheets with a paper cutter, and then manually or mechanically sort them to remove the damaged or stained papers. Finally, pack every 500 sheets into one package (usually called one order).
